Shield of David was founded by Eli Ben Moshe and Brian Blacher. The reason they took action was due to the upsurge of anti-Semitic incidents that have occurred in the past few years. Both of them were tired of people saying NEVER AGAIN, and not doing anything about it.
The goal is to have Jewish education and Krav Maga courses on every campus, facilitated by any organization who believes in the cause.
Anti-Semitism on our college campuses is well known and unfortunately spreading. For a young college student, the easiest path is to avoid conflict and focus on all the other aspects of their college life. We seek to instill knowledge and confidence in order to make it easier to stand up to anti-Semitism on campus.
